'Deliverance' Actor Dies: Bill McKinney Dead at 80
Actor Bill McKinney has died at age 80. McKinney is better noted for playing the sadistic Mountain Guy within the 1972 film 'Deliverance.' McKinney would go onto star in movies for example Mike Peckinpah's 'Junior Bonner,' 'First Bloodstream,' and 'Back towards the Future Part 3.' He seemed to be in a number of Clint Eastwood films, including 'Thunderbolt and Lightfoot,' 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' and 'Pink Cadillac.' An argument on Bill McKinney's Facebook page states that, "Today our dear Bill McKinney died at Valley Presbyterian Hospice. An enthusiastic smoker for two-and-a-half decades of his more youthful existence, he died of cancer from the wind pipe. He was 80 but still sufficiently strong to possess shot a Dorito's commercial 2 days just before his passing, and that he ongoing to operate on his biography together with his writing partner. Hopefully 2012 brings a writer for that wild ride his existence was. He's made it by boy Clinton, together with several ex-spouses. R.I.P. Bill sept.12 1931 - 12 ,. 1 2011."
